Kielder Castle is the visitor centre for Britain's biggest forest. Features include forest shop, information centre, tearoom, and exhibitions about forestry and conservation, including the Birds of Kielder experience. The centre is an ideal starting point for a forest visit. Guided walks programme, forest trails, cycle routes and Britain's longest forest drive all start from the castle.

Directions: From Hexham take the B6074 to Chollerford, then B6320 to Bellingham then C200 to Kielder.
Opening Times: Open 28 Mar-31 Oct, daily, 1000-1700; 1-31 Aug, daily, 1000-1800; 1 Nov-31 Dec, Sat, Sun, 1100-1600.
